Orb of Imposition
Once per encounter as a free action, Olwë can use his orb to gain one of the following two effects.
He can designate one creature he has cast a wizard spell upon that has an effect that lasts until the subject succeeds on a saving throw. That creature takes a -2 penalty to its saving throws against that effect
Alternatively, he can choose to extend the duration of an effect created by a wizard at-will spell (such as cloud of daggers or ray of frost) that would otherwise end at the end of your current turn. The effect instead ends at the end of your next turn.
He must wield an orb to use this ability.

Olwë Helyanwë’s Tactics
Olwë will remain at range, keeping defender and striker allies between himself and the enemy. At the start of a battle, he’ll try to use larger area spells if the enemies are grouped up and allies have yet to intermingle with them. If area spells aren’t prudent, then spells that either slow (such as ray of frost) or stop (such as sleep) an enemies movement to allow allies to get advantageous positioning will lead his barrage. After combatants are locked in melee, he switches to spells that have ongoing effects, to either force them to move out of an advantageous position or force them to take damage to stay in such a position. His favorite spell is cloud of daggers.
